About Ivy Virginia Driver Improvement

Ivy Virginia Driver Improvement (“Ivy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an independent private company providing access to online driver improvement and reckless/aggressive driving education programs for Virginia drivers.

Ivy is not part of, operated by, or endorsed by the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (“DMV”), or any Virginia court.

Certain courses may be subject to Virginia DMV requirements or approval. Other courses, including Reckless and Aggressive Driving Education Program (“RADEP”) courses, are not regulated by the Virginia DMV.

Choosing the Correct Course

You are responsible for selecting the course that satisfies your particular requirement.

If a court, DMV, attorney, insurance company, employer, or other organization has instructed you to complete a particular course, you should confirm the exact course required before registering.

Ivy provides information to help students understand the available courses, but we cannot guarantee that a particular course will satisfy the requirements imposed on an individual student by a court, DMV, or another organization.

Course Registration

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering for a course.

Course access is intended only for the registered student and may not be transferred, shared, resold, or used by another person.

You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address provided during registration because important course information and access instructions may be delivered to that address.

Payment

Course prices are displayed before purchase.

Payment must be successfully completed and verified before course access is released.

Payments are processed through a third-party payment processor. Ivy does not store complete payment-card information on its own servers.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by Ivy Virginia Driver Improvement’s separate Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Use by reference.

Students should review the Refund Policy before purchasing a course.

Online Course Delivery

Ivy’s courses are delivered online and may utilize third-party technology, educational platforms, curriculum providers, or service providers.

Students are responsible for having a compatible device, internet connection, browser, email account, and other technology reasonably necessary to access and complete an online course.

Temporary interruptions caused by internet service, maintenance, third-party systems, or circumstances outside Ivy’s reasonable control may occasionally occur.

Course Completion and Certificates

Course completion requirements vary depending upon the course.

A student must satisfy all applicable course requirements before a completion certificate or other completion documentation is issued.

Students are responsible for providing accurate identifying information so that completion records and certificates can be prepared correctly.

Where applicable, completion information may be provided to the student and/or reported or submitted as required by the particular program.

Court and DMV Requirements

Court requirements vary by jurisdiction and by individual case.

Nothing on this website guarantees that completing a particular course will result in dismissal or reduction of a charge, a particular sentence, a particular DMV result, an insurance benefit, or any other legal or administrative outcome.

RADEP courses are not regulated by the Virginia DMV and do not provide Virginia DMV safe-driving points or a DMV-issued completion certificate.

Any statements concerning a DMV-regulated course apply only when the course has received the approval required for it to be offered as such.
